Bernese Oberland

A very warm welcome to the Bernese Oberland!

Since August 2009 the four destinations Adelboden-Frutigen, Kandersteg – Kandertal, Lenk – Simmental and Thunersee are working together as the Marketing Cooperation Bernese Oberland.

In summer or winter the diversity of this region leaves nothing to be desired. The largest ski destination in the Bernese Oberland Adelboden-Lenk…dänk offers an impressive variety of snow sports. 72 high-performance mountain transport lifts serve a network of pistes covering a total of 210km. The wonderful area around the Oeschinen Lake in the region of Kandertal is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps and invites for a walking or bike trip. From the region of Thunersee the breathtaking view of the Bernese Oberland mountains with Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau reminds on a picture-postcard. Not to forget the "great little city" of Thun with its medieval castle and famous old town. This is exactly what a typical Swiss holiday should be like!
